Caroline Angus has been dancing for over 40 years & teaching for 25+ years.

Caroline started dancing at the age of 5 in Kingston, Ontario with the Rob Roy Pipe Band & Highland Dancers. As a part of this group, Caroline had the opportunity to perform across Canada, the U.S. & Great Britain. Caroline has also had the privilege of dancing with the renowned Celtic comedy/dance/musical sensations, The Tartan Terrors.

Caroline has had a successful competitive career winning numerous awards & trophies, travelling & competing throughout the World.

Caroline received her teaching certification with the S.D.T.A. in 1994 & has taught for the Rob Roy (Kingston), Academy of Film & Performing Arts (Burlington) & Stars Academy (Burlington). Her students have had a 100% pass rate on all exams & she has coached dancers through successful competitive careers.  Caroline received her teaching certification with the B.A.T.D. to add to her accomplishments.  Caroline also obtained her Sports Administration diploma from Durham College in 1998.

Angus Academy of Highland Dance was established in 2009. Through her many years of performing, dancing & teaching, Caroline is charged with creativity & a love of highland dance. Her passion for highland dance can be felt in her classes as she encourages students to push their limitations, find their strengths & grow as dancers. Caroline loves to inspire the highland dancers of tomorrow. Caroline ensures that each student is treated with respect & all students are encouraged to strive for their personal best.
